The Scientific Council of the State Institution" Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Medical Technologies, Informatization, Management and Health Economics "is organized under the Director of the State Institution" Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Medical Technologies, Informatization, Management and Economics of Health "as an advisory body for consideration issues of organization of research activities, increasing the effectiveness of scientific research in order to accelerate the scientific and technical about the process, the implementation of the results obtained in the practice of health

The main tasks of the Academic Council
- determination of promising scientific directions for the development of scientific, scientific, technical and innovative activities of the Center;
- making proposals to improve the efficiency of scientific, scientific, technical and innovative activities of the Center;
- consideration of issues of scientific information, patent and licensing support and other issues of ensuring scientific research and development, inventive and rationalization activities of the Center;
- consideration of current issues of research work of the Center's divisions and coordination of their work;
- carrying out an examination and recommendation for the approval of NIOK(T)R projects for their inclusion in the sections of scientific support of state programs, state programs of scientific research, other programs, as well as individual innovative projects, other NIOK(T)R projects within the framework of economic and contractual activities and other forms of implementation;
- consideration of topics and plans of scientific works (dissertations) for the degree of candidate (doctor) of sciences, the progress of scientific works (dissertations);
- hearing and approval of reports on the scientific, scientific, technical and innovative activities of the Center, interim and final reports of managers (responsible executors) on the progress of R&D(T)R;
- evaluation of the results of scientific, scientific, technical and innovative activities of the Center, their relevance, significance for science and practical healthcare, recommending them for publication and implementation in healthcare practice;
- hearing and approval of the results of individual scientific activities of scientists and structural divisions of the Center;
- consideration of proposals for the publication of scientific publications of the Center;
- consideration of plans and applications for publication of monographs, manuals, textbooks, other publications, materials intended for publication abroad;
- discussion of issues related to the implementation of international cooperation activities;
- consideration of issues of organizing and holding international, republican, regional scientific, scientific and practical congresses, conferences, symposiums and others;
- consideration of issues of holding competitions for filling vacant positions of scientific workers;
- consideration of issues of long-term and ongoing training and placement of scientific personnel, a reserve of management staff, work with young specialists;
- consideration of candidates for obtaining academic titles, honorary titles, state awards, as well as certificates and awards of the Center;
- consideration of proposals for the presentation of scientific achievements for exposition at exhibitions, nomination of the results of scientific works for state awards of the Republic of Belarus and other types of incentives;
- consideration of other issues.
The work of the Academic Council is carried out according to the annual plan. Meetings of the Council are held as required, but at least once a quarter.
Representatives of interested state bodies (organizations) may be invited to the meeting of the Council. Members of the Council and invited persons present at the meeting have the right to participate in the debate, make proposals, amend the substance of the issues discussed, and provide the necessary information.
The decision of the Council is made open (if necessary by decision of the Council - closed) by a vote, provided that at least two thirds of its members are present at the meeting. Only members of the Council take part in the voting.
