Description of the system

The Belarusian State Register of Persons exposed to radiation due to the Chernobyl disaster was developed on the basis of the republican level of the former All-Union Distributed Medical and Dosimetric Register, which operated since 1987

Goal

control over the health of the population exposed to radiation, obtaining reliable data on the medical and biological consequences of the disaster

Tasks
  • registration of passport and registration data of persons exposed to radiation
  • allowance for radiation doses
  • chronic diseases that occurred in the observed persons before the disaster
  • registration of data on the health status of the observed ersons after the disaster, its changes, the results of recovery
  • automated control of the completeness and timing of the clinical examination of the individuals observed
  • generation of relevant reference data at the request of users
  • international exchange of medical and dosimetry information
